Parkway Presbyterian Preschool and Kindergarten

Parkway Presbyterian Preschool and Kindergarten is a small, coeducational early childhood school situated in the large suburban area of Cumming, Forsyth County. Despite its modest size, with only 5 students enrolled, the school offers a focused and intimate learning environment. It provides education for children in preschool (PK) and kindergarten (K), with the kindergarten program being a half-day schedule held five days a week, totaling about 3.75 hours daily. This structure allows young children to engage in meaningful learning while maintaining a balanced daily routine. The school year spans 154 days, giving students ample time for growth and development. Tuition for the 2023-2024 year ranges from $220 to $460 per month, payable in nine installments from August through April, with a tenth payment in May paid one year in advance. While financial aid is not available, the school does offer a lunch program, ensuring students have a nutritious meal during the day. Parkway Presbyterian Preschool and Kindergarten is affiliated with the Presbyterian tradition, though it is classified as religious unaffiliated, meaning it welcomes families from diverse faith backgrounds without requiring a statement of faith. The school is accredited by the North Georgia Preschool Association and features a library, supporting early literacy and learning. Although the school does not participate in voucher programs or summer programs, it does support homeschooling families. Admissions are typically accepted until early January each year, with sibling priority given to those with siblings already enrolled. The school’s religious orientation and small size create a unique, community-focused environment for families seeking a faith-based early childhood education in the Forsyth County area. Specific details about uniforms or before- and after-school care are not published, which may be of interest to prospective parents.
